4月27日，即使期中考试将近，同学们还是如约聚在了英语角。晚上六点出头，三名外教身边就围了不少学生。今天来参加英语角的外教是Mr. Robert K. Mateja, Ms. Rebecca Reel.

Mr. Robert K. Mateja 与我们分享了他在韩国的教学经历，谈到了韩国版的微信——Kakao Talk。还教同学们说起了韩语。其中一位男同学说他不喜欢韩国男人的原因是他们长得太帅了，而另一位女同学则向Robert 科普了最近中国正当红的韩国演员宋仲基，并戏称他是她的“老公”。 Robert对这种偶像的称呼很好奇，随后他就拿出手机向我们展示了一张少女时代成员Tiffany 的照片说是他的“妻子”，逗得同学们一阵大笑。

另一边，来自德国的Boss 出场方式有点特别，他是踩着滑轮来的。他向同学们分享了接下来的3天假期计划， 并鼓励同学们假期期间多出去走走。

下个星期就是期中考了，希望同学们能取得好成绩。同时也期待下周三的英语角。

English Corner: Still Young

On April 27th , many students joined the English corner though the mid-term exam was drawing near. Mr. Robert K. Mateja and Ms. Rebecca Reel were surrounded by many students after six o’clock.

Robert shared his interesting experiences in South Korea and told the students something about the South Korean “WeChat”—Kakao Talk. He also taught the students some simple Korean words. One of the boys told Robert that he didn’t like Korean men because they were too handsome. Another girl introduced a popular South Korean actor called Song Joong Ki and told Robert that he was her “husband”. Robert laughed because he thought it was interesting. Then he took out his phone and showed them a photo of Tiffany, a South Korean singer , telling students that she was his “wife”, which made all the students burst out laughing .

It is hoped that all students get good grades in the coming mid-term exams. Let’s look forward to the English Corner next week.
