The park locating at 3 miles away in the southern of Sanya downtown has an impresive love story. It is said that a Li nationality were chasing after a yamaga, from Wuzhi mountain to South China Sea. When the yamaga finally had no way and came to the sea, she turned around and then changed into a beautiful girl. The sculpture named Turning Round Deer was built according to this legend and it has been the witness of romantic love. The Turning Round Deer Park is a preferred location to take a overlook on Sanya and its full view.
