1.What principles do you think should be followed in translating Chinese slogans into English?
Answer: Firstly, the western culture background,custom and thinking pattern should be considered. Secondly, keeping a balance between Chinese descriptions and English characteristics. Thirdly, the slogan should be catchy and easy to memorize using some rhetorical devices such as alliteration or end rhyme.

Answer: Firstly, figure out the meaning of the Chinese version clearly to check if there is any rhetorical devices. Secondly, refer to English habit and translate the Chinese slogans flexibly but not literally. Thirdly, pay more attention to the real meaning of the slogan during the process
