讲师，任职于北京师范大学珠海分校外国语学院。

2003年7月，毕业于太原理工大学科技英语专业，获得学士学位。2007年7月，毕业于太原理工大学外国语言学及应用语言学专业，获得硕士学位。攻读硕士学位期间，曾任环球雅思学校（太原分校）听力主讲。该校的教学工作使其积累了丰富的教学经验以及和学生有效沟通的技巧，对日后的工作大有裨益。

2007年9月，正式入职北京师范大学珠海分校外国语学院。任职期间，主要教授《大学英语》，《广告英语》，《英语专业写作》，以及《六级英语》等课程。主要研究方向为翻译理论与实践，曾发表《奈达动态对等翻译理论在实践中的运用与局限》以及《思维能力的培养与高校英语专业写作教学》等论文若干篇。

Jia Wang is a lecturer in the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai). She has got both Master Degree and Bachelor Degree from Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT), respectively majoring in Translation Theory and Practice and in Scientific English. While studying for the Master degree, she has undertaken the teaching work with a variety of learners, including children, teenagers and adults. She has acquired the most rewarding experience in Global IELTS School (Taiyuan), a school preparing students for their IELTS exam, where she was responsible for teaching Listening Skills and Writing Skills, thus had opportunities to get access to various teaching approaches and come to be skillful in communicating with different learners as well, which is proved to be greatly helpful in her future career.

This is her fourth year of teaching at Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai). Since Sept. in 2007, she has been giving lectures on the courses of College English (for non-majors), Advertising English (for both English major and non-majors), English Writing (for English major) and so forth. Over the past three years, she has been enjoying the campus life, keen to communicate with students, and already seen teaching as her lifetime career.

Her research area mainly involves translation theory and translation practice. She has been particularly interested in translation of heavily culture-loaded texts and once made a tentative study of comparing two complete English versions of Honglou Meng, one of four Chinese classical works, aiming at figuring out the most suitable strategy of translation for such kind of texts. Profound as translation is, she has determined to dedicate herself to the study of the very field. Up to now, her works include Nida’s Translation Theory of Dynamic Equivalence in Practice and Its Limitation and The Cultivation of Thinking Ability and Teaching of English Writing and so on.
