老师，您好，

在复习翻译过程中，有一个问题。看了一个专八翻译视频，大致讲了要先分意群，分清主干，层次，要突出重点，错落有致。在自己练习过程中，有一个真题句子：

我想，其实谁都有一个小小花园，这便是我们的内心世界。

参考译文是 I think everyone,in effect,has a small garden or a flower bed of his own.

我自己在做时，若要按照分清主次，我感觉主干是花园是内心世界，照这样，我翻译的是，The little garden that everyone has,i think,is our inner world. 这样其实又不知放哪里。

在考试的翻译上，可能它是有些基本的标准，如果基本标准没有对，即使再某些地方再好可能也不行，所以想问一下老师能否讲解一下，专八考试中翻译基本的一些标准，以及我怎么做才能保证基本的大致方向是对的，在基本的项上有保证。现只有这短短十几天了，还是想尽量能获得好的效果，还是希望老师指点一下，谢谢！

翻译质量的评判的确存在很主观的因素，翻译没有绝对完美的标准答案，我猜想大部分改卷老师很可能根据语感判断译文是否流畅，当然，如果译文有明显的语言语法错误，还是能看出来，也会影响分数。以下的评分标准，你可以看看：

10---9 points: EXCELLENT TRANSLATION

The translation faithfully reflects all the original passage with only 1 or 2 minor errors in vocabulary, syntax, punctuation or spelling. The translation is elegant (appropriate choice of words, a variety in sentence patterns).

8—7 points: GOOD TRANSLATION WITH FEW INACCURACIES

The translation reflects almost all the original passage with relatively few significant errors of vocabulary, syntax, spelling or punctuation. The translation is readable (generally clear, smooth and cohesive).

6—5 points: The translation adequately reflects most of the original passage with occasional errors in comprehending individual words, phrases, sentences or ideas. The translation is, for the most part, readable.

4—3 points: The translation only reflects about half of the original passage with frequent errors in comprehending individual words, phrases, sentences or ideas. The translation is, in some parts, understandable.

2--1 The translation reflects less than half of the original passage. Almost all sentences contain errors in comprehending individual words, phrases, sentences or ideas. The translation is, for most part, unreadable.
